Healing yourself

Nothing that the human mind does, knows, or believes has power to truly heal. But when human thinking yields to what God knows and is, the all-powerful influence of God, Spirit, heals. This yielding to Spirit is prayer, and healing through prayer is something every student of Christian Science is capable of.

It's very important, then, to find out what God, the divine Mind, knows. Because what God knows is what is spiritually true of man and the universe. From the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy we learn that God sees Himself as the only power, the only consciousness, the only source of action and being. He might be thought of as saying, "All that I am is good, and that's all there is."

And how does God see man? Since man is God's idea, all that man is or has comes from God. Therefore man can be and have only good. Harmony is the law of his being.
