When I was quite young, my mother decided to enroll my sisters and me in the Christian Science Sunday School. She was motivated by a deep yearning for us to understand God better. At that time my mother also disposed of all medicines in our home. She had made a radical decision that henceforth we would all rely strictly on God for healing. I have always marveled at her firm resolve and never cease to be grateful for it.
Throughout the years our family was blessed by Science. Our lives were especially free of illness. And we sisters grew up healthy and strong as each one learned more of her real spiritual nature through the wise instruction given in the Sunday School.
I would like to share a recent meaningful proof I had of God's protective love. Shortly after I learned that I was pregnant with our second child, there were symptoms indicating I might lose the baby. At that point, I realized how very much I wanted this child, and I immediately set about to master the fear and anxiety that were troubling me.
