FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Please turn on the floodlights!
When I was a little girl, we often played in our front yard after supper. Handball on the garage door, kick-the-can, and hide-and-seek were some of our favorite games. Sometimes it became too dark to see what we were doing, and someone would call out, "Please turn on the floodlights!" Soon the entire area would be lighted up, and our activities could continue.
You probably know that floodlights are not just regular light bulbs. Instead of shining in one small area, they throw an intense and broad beam over a much larger area.
Have you ever "floodlighted" your thinking with goodness? You can! And Christian Science shows you how. By recognizing God as the source of light, you can get rid of mental darkness. If you're having trouble in school, suffering physically, going through hard times with a friend, or experiencing any other challenge, turning to God can help and heal the situation.
