Truth shines through counterfeit and parody
"A penny for your thoughts," the old saying goes. Are yours worth that or much, much more? Are they shaped by underlying values that hint at eternal Life and universal Love? Would you say they touch on Truth, perhaps helping you detect that which is not really true?
Truth is always revealing itself; that is its nature. And what Christ, Truth, reveals is things of God. This knowledge of God makes up our real consciousness. One listening to his own spiritual intuitions not only finds immortal truths but also is able to sort out strictly mortal, material thoughts from those that approach God, Spirit.
It is not always easy to assess when today's increased interest in spiritual healing of disease is an interest in spirituality and when it is just an interest in nonconventional healing. Attention that centers on the spiritual aspect, rather than on material change, indicates more than a passing fancy.
