Once our son accidentally cut his wrist quite severely on a piece of glass. All control of the wrist seemed to be gone, and he lost a great deal of blood.
The sight was frightening, but my husband and I knew that as our son is in truth an individual in God's spiritual creation, his life is spiritual, not mortal. We affirmed that his life could not be subject to loss, but, rather, that God maintains man's identity as His constant, perfect expression. Man's wholeness can never be severed from the creator who gives it; real being is never lost or weakened. Spirit is All and Spirit is Life; so matter has no power or entity to interrupt and attempt to take away the manifestation of that Life.
In a few short moments, the fear subsided. Then the bleeding stopped.
