One day I fell and my lip was bleeding very badly! I was crying but my mommy took care of me. We said the Lord's Prayer out loud together. Then I took a nap about ten or fifteen minutes long. And then I watched some TV while my mommy read something out of Science and Health for about one hour. And three days later I was perfectly well! And I'm very grateful for what Christian Science can do.

While practicing the piano one afternoon, I heard an alarming scream. My six-year-old daughter had fallen on her face in a neighbor's driveway. I went down the stairs to let her in, knowing before I opened the door that I must be sure of God's complete love and care in order to help her. Her mouth was bleeding profusely. The upper lip appeared to be separated from the gums, and she told me that one of her new (second set of) teeth was loose.
