Decades have passed since I became acquainted with Christian Science, and with all my heart I am grateful to God for this glorious way of life. Many healings have been accomplished in our family through Science, and at times when symptoms of disease have frightened me, the inspiring message of this psalm has given me strength (Ps. 121:1): "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help."

I have deep reverence and gratitude for Christ Jesus, our Teacher and Master, and for his follower Mrs. Eddy, whose scientific discovery is bringing redemption to mankind.

Some time ago, my daughter was constantly in great pain as a result of menopause. We asked for support from a Christian Science practitioner, and every day we read the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly together. This wonderful statement from the chapter entitled "Prayer" in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy immensely strengthened our trust in God's help (p. 14): "Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual— neither in nor of matter—and the body will then utter no complaints."
