Sermon on the Mount brings understanding of true perfection—symptoms of stroke dispelled
Prior to finding Christian Science, I was so seriously ill that one doctor told me I wouldn't live a year without an operation for an internal disorder. I was too fearful to consent to the operation, and for many years my health steadily declined.
During this time I found Christian Science, and although I enjoyed attending services at a local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, I still relied on medicine for help with physical problems.
Eventually my health deteriorated to the point that I felt close to dying. It was then that I finally turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science. The practitioner I called stayed by my bed all night. That was the crisis, and from there the healing was quickly accomplished.
