Praying from the standpoint of intelligence
Most of us have felt troubled at times by crisis situations, disease, lack, feelings of inadequacy, fear. Is there a sure way of solving these problems? Prayer, as explained in Christian Science, brings healing answers.
But how do we communicate with God?
Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, gives us this guideline: "Thought passes from God to man, but neither sensation nor report goes from material body to Mind. The intercommunication is always from God to His idea, man." Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 284; Thus our communication, our prayer, can be seen as God's—Mind's—revealing of Himself in true thought.
