Can Christian Science treatment heal someone who is not a...
Can Christian Science treatment heal someone who is not a student of this Science? From a personal experience I can unequivocally answer "Yes."
From infancy until my early teens I had serious bronchial trouble. Occasionally doctors were able to give me some relief, but never a healing, and they said that I would probably not reach manhood.
My mother had become interested in Christian Science, and one day when I was having quite a struggle with this illness she asked if she might call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. Although I was a member of an orthodox church and hoped to study for the clergy, I felt so utterly miserable that relief through any means would have been acceptable.
