While I was at school in 1975, a doctor in the college infirmary told me I had plantar warts on the soles of both feet. He said that without surgery I would be crippled.

When I returned home from college that summer, I asked my mother to give me Christian Science treatment. She helped me in my spiritual reasoning, pointing out in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy the chapter entitled "Footsteps of Truth." I saw that progress is perfect growth in truth. We discussed the spiritual nature of progress and growth, realizing that law and power belong solely to Spirit, God. Any false sense has no law behind it, hence no power of enforcement.

After only a few days my feet were completely smooth and clear. The appearance of the feet did not improve gradually; the warts had suddenly disappeared. The healing was immediate and complete. This healing was undeniably the result of Christian Science, for which I am extremely grateful.
