After fifty years of membership in The Mother Church I feel a need once again to express my gratitude for all the blessings and healings I have known during all these years in Christian Science.
I was nine years old when my mother was healed through prayer of an incurable kidney disease. From birth I was very frail; I was born with a serious valvular defect of the heart. The doctors said that if I lived, which was not likely, I would be an invalid and never be able to lead a normal life. When my mother was healed, a Christian Science practitioner's help was sought for me, and in two weeks I was entirely well. Since the day I was healed, I have led a very active life, have had a large family and a large home to manage.
I was a regular pupil in the first Christian Science Sunday School that was started in Sweden.
