Welcome the stirring of Truth!
As today's problems outgrow yesterday's answers, is anything moving in the right direction? Spiritually interpreted, Yes. The action of the Christ is exposing the nonanswers of materialism and is nudging human thought to expand in the direction of spiritual development.
When we begin to question what has been our unquestioning reliance on matter, the Christ Science shows us something heavenly at work in human consciousness. Why? Because, as Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven . . . ."Matt. 13:33;
Leavening action routs inertia. Ferment keeps growing until assimilation of the fermenting agent transforms the whole. The period of tumult may seem disturbing to material sense, but it can be used to help forward spiritual growth. Wasn't Christ Jesus showing us that we can make our own heaven, or harmony, by assimilating God's qualities?
