I have experienced many healings and solutions to problems...
I have experienced many healings and solutions to problems through Christian Science—my family's way of life. Sometimes the help of one of the inspired practitioners listed in The Christian Science Journal was required to bring about healing. Early last year I had a great need to call for help, not only from a practitioner but from a Christian Science nurse.
While working around our house clearing brush with a power mower, I carelessly mutilated the forepart of my foot, all but severing the big toe. Out of earshot, I thought, from all but God, I shouted that God is Love loud enough to be heard by my wife and daughter, who were just driving out of the driveway. They came back, called the practitioner and the nurse, and bathed and taped together what they could, while we all prayed as taught in Christian Science.
I was particularly grateful during this time that together we denied, strongly and audibly, pain, infection, fear, and doubt as having power.
