It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I express my thanks for Christian Science—for all the many blessings and healings, and for the protection I have received.

Recently I was healed of acute heart pains. Because of the discomfort I seemed unable to pray for myself. Therefore I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner, who gave me good effective treatment that reassured me and helped me to rest. The next day I was able to return to my work without too much difficulty. Later I was completely well.

The healing of a nervous breakdown is one of the first healings that encouraged me to persevere in the study of Christian Science. I went to a Christian Science Reading Room where I spent several hours reading and finding calm and comfort by consulting the Reading Room's abundant and rich literature. The encouragement of the librarian helped to free me from the illness.
