I am deeply grateful for the guidance, protection, good health, and the many other blessings that have been mine since I have been a student of Christian Science.
In the Sentinel of June 23,1956, I testified of my healing of total blindness. It has now been over thirty-five years since my sight was restored, and I have continued to have good vision and to read all that I want to.
Early one morning a few years ago, a severe pain developed in my leg. It seemed I could not get relief. I prayed for myself as I had learned to do in my study of Christian Science, but the pain continued and I became fearful. As Mrs. Eddy states in Science and Health (p.420), "If students do not readily heal themselves, they should early call an experienced Christian Scientist to aid them." This I did, and within the hour I was free of pain and able to return to my work.
