"...EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD"

They say
he is
almost 2,000 years
past now.

They say
he came
special,
and walked
and healed
and taught
and saved.

They say
he was
different,
but died (just the same)
but rose
and taught some more.

They say
it's over now;
he left:
just up
and disappeared
some twenty centuries
ago.

They say
gone for good
but it isn't so.

The Christ
walks
and heals
and teaches
here
today
with us now
and shall not
ever go away.
