Following the Trends of Truth

Trend watchers can become so preoccupied with movements in economics, fashion, politics, that they can play a part in reinforcing some valueless thrusts of human thought. Fascinated by polls and new directions, they may add to the possibilities of today's predictions becoming tomorrow's events. Some trends have value. Others not. We can support the former and be defended against the latter by being more attentive to spiritually scientific facts.

The mental nature of human experience is disclosed by Christian Science. And the more we grasp the primacy of thought in relation to human action and events, the more alert we become to watch the tendencies of our own thought. We don't have to be swirled around in the eddies of mortal belief. We can instead associate ourselves with the currents of Truth.
