Christ—The Power That Overcomes Time
"... more time for work." "... more time for recreation and fun." "... time for the kids." "... time for church." "... time for study." "... time to overcome bad habits." "... time to pray." "... time to get well."
Time, time, time. Yet, is this really what is needed? In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy defines "time" as "mortal measurements; limits, in which are summed up all human acts, thoughts, beliefs, opinions, knowledge; matter; error; that which begins before, and continues after, what is termed death, until the mortal disappears and spiritual perfection appears." Science and Health, p. 595;
The Way-shower, Christ Jesus, in not much over thirty years overcame the restrictions and limitations of time-oriented thinking and left an impact on humanity that will never be forgotten. His accomplishments were due to his unequaled understanding of the allness and goodness of God and of the timeless nature of the Christ.
