Reflection Is Constant
In its absolute sense, reflection is not something over which we have control. Man is the reflection of the eternally perfect God; therefore man is eternally perfect. This is what is, and nothing can control the spiritual fact or change it. Our need is to understand and accept and demonstrate it.
No time processes are involved in reflection. To illustrate: If one stands before a mirror and raises his arm, the reflection doesn't raise its arm a few seconds later. It does what the original does.
So, it doesn't take time for man to become perfect. He is perfect now because he is the constant reflection of perfect Mind. Man reflects the all-harmonious action of Mind in every phase of his being. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes: "God creates and governs the universe, including man. The universe is filled with spiritual ideas, which He evolves, and they are obedient to the Mind that makes them." Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 295;
