It is with a genuine desire to glorify God, who is the giver of all good, that I wish to share the healing of a disease classified as incurable. The healing came after a well-known medical institution had earnestly and kindly given their best efforts, including surgical operations, to heal me of a malignant tumor.

While in great despair, I turned completely to God, as God is revealed in Christian Science, for my help. A patient, wise practitioner helped me gain the understanding of the greatness and power and goodness of God, and of the Christ presence. This healing occurred many years ago and has been positive and permanent. In the words of the Psalmist (Ps. 40:2), "He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings."

I am grateful for the example of our loving Saviour, Christ Jesus. I have had many proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science, and I am very grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for the many blessings her understanding of the Scriptures has brought me, and for proof of her words found in the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (p. 107): "Through Christian Science, religion and medicine are inspired with a diviner nature and essence; fresh pinions are given to faith and understanding, and thoughts acquaint themselves intelligently with God."
