I am happy for the opportunity to tell of a beautiful proof of the power of Truth which has come to me through Christian Science.

My work had been terminated, and for several weeks I had been looking without success for another position. In Christian Science I have learned that God provides all that is necessary for all His ideas, and I was holding to this truth one evening as I was reading the "Female Help Wanted" column in a newspaper. However, that evening the column was shorter than ever, and there seemed to be nothing for me. Then the thought came to look in the "Male Help Wanted" column. There was a position open requiring accuracy with figures and also specialized experience in certain procedures, work for which I had been previously trained.

In The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, Mrs. Eddy tells us (pp. 268-269), "Look long enough, and you see male and female one—sex or gender eliminated; you see the designation man meaning woman as well, and you see the whole universe included in one infinite Mind and reflected in the intelligent compound idea, image or likeness, called man, showing forth the infinite divine Principle, Love, called God,—man wedded to the Lamb, pledged to innocence, purity, perfection."
