Christian Science brought me out of dark years into the light of ever-present Love.

With a history of an inharmonious homelife, a strong medical background, and several surgical operations that nearly cost me my life, I found myself both mentally and physically exhausted. The exhaustion, coupled with a continuous headache, lasted for three years.

At that time my husband was trying to buy a piece of business property in another area, which seemed difficult to obtain and required several trips to the home of the real estate agent. On the last trip there we did not get the property, but I received a "pearl of great price." The agent and his wife, who were Christian Scientists, had noticed my physical condition and could no longer withhold their help. They gave me a book to read. Although I told them that I could no longer read and make sense out of it, their only reply was, "You will be able to read this book.
