Soldiers of Christ
Here is the story of a young Christian soldier who learned to listen to God's commands. He was six years old at the time, and his name was Dick.
Dick and his family—his dad, mother, and younger brother—loved to go camping. There were many beautiful state parks not far from their home. They would take, their tent and outdoor cooking gear and find a campsite in the woods near a river.
At night they would cook their dinner over a blazing campfire. Afterward they would sit around the fire and sing songs and talk about the pioneers. The boys loved to hear how the brave soldiers protected the pioneers and their homes.
