How to Get On with Others
Warm relationships are lasting when based on a scientific understanding of God and man. Everyone can learn how to live in harmony with relatives and friends, neighbors and business associates, by getting this understanding through the study of the Bible as explained in Christian Science.
This study unfolds to us a more vivid realization that God, divine Love, is the creator of all. We learn to know Him as perfect Mind and grasp the fact that He includes within Himself the real identities of all men, holding them in changeless concord throughout eternity. We begin to realize, then, that human discord must be unreal because unknown to creative Love, whose allness precludes the possibility of anything existing unlike itself.
Because of this we see that what seem to be selfishness, destructive criticism, impatience, resentment, hatred, are only phases of ignorant human belief—the belief that man has a life and mind separate from divine Love. Then the grateful recognition of the warmth and tenderness of the all-encompassing Father-Mother blots out the loveless discord that has seemed to exist and restores harmony.
