You Can Learn Lessons from Nature
The following is a conversation between four teen-age girls and their high school teacher, about experiences they've had regarding nature. The group includes Ms. Elizabeth Carey, Heather Andrews, Gillian Greenhill, Candace Koutnik, and Deborah Moore.
Debi: People everywhere are saying we've got to get back to the great outdoors. The freedom and simplicity we find in nature seem to be missing in our lives. Nature seems to have a unity, a balance, and a purpose that urban life lacks.
Heather: Shouldn't we define our terms? How are we using the term "nature"?
