What Do You Mean: "There is no problem"?

Those who haven't had the opportunity to experience personally the revelation of the Christ as divine Truth expressed on the human scene are sometimes startled at a Christian Scientist's statement such as, "There's no sickness, no evil, no discord of any kind." Bold? Yes. Revolutionary? Yes. Impractical or beyond demonstration by everyone? No.

A few years ago while reading the newspaper one Sunday afternoon, I suddenly had an overwhelming sense of nausea and dizziness. Recognizing the symptoms of the flu, I thought, upon first impulse, that I should go to bed. But then fortunately at this point I decided to hold to the Christ, the spiritual idea of man's perfect sonship in God. This helped to dispel the fuzzy notion that a period of unconsciousness would help.

Then this thought came as clearly as a thunderclap: "Well, is there a problem, or isn't there?" The reply was equally clear: "Of course there is no problem! This is God's kingdom, and I reflect Him and nothing but Him. He is good and all-powerful, and no evil suggestion can separate me from Him."
