I was first introduced to Christian Science by the young lady who was later to become my wife. She had been brought up in Christian Science, and I was a member of an orthodox church. For the twofold joy that came into my life at that time, I shall always be deeply grateful.

My wife and I, and our three children, have experienced many healings through the years as the result of radical reliance on the teachings of Christ Jesus as given to us in the Bible, together with the explanation of these teachings as brought to us by Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Physical problems have been healed, lack has been overcome, and business problems have been solved. Under the protection of our Father-Mother God our children have reached maturity free from the many unhappy experiences which would try to divert the younger generation from their rightful place in society.

In spite of all these wonderful experiences, it still required a serious business problem to bring me face to face with my need for a deeper understanding of man's real spiritual identity and his divine purpose for being.
