About eighteen months ago I experienced a great deal of worry
About eighteen months ago I experienced a great deal of worry. This resulted in what appeared to be a nervous breakdown, which affected my sight. A week after being fitted with new glasses, I found my vision was distorted and I could not see to read.
I mentioned this to a friend, who recommended that I return to the oculist, which I did. After completing a thorough test he said there was nothing wrong with the glasses but he felt I should see a specialist at once.
I told a Christian Science practitioner about this and decided to rely on God to help me work out this problem. For some time the symptoms were very discouraging, but the practitioner and a Christian Science nurse were firm in their understanding that God's ideas are all loved by Him and cannot lose anything that He has given them.
