I can never be grateful enough for Christian Science and for the countless blessings my family and I have received since I accepted the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, in 1920.

At that time, the medical opinion was that I could not live longer than a few weeks, owing to the lungs being in a very bad condition as the result of consumption. In earlier years members of my family had passed on from the same trouble. I was the mother of a very young family at that time. It is no wonder that I am very grateful indeed for my healing as a result of taking up this religion, and for the healings and many instances of divine help we have known since those early days.

The children all dearly loved the Christian Science Sunday School. It has been a source of wonderful strength to them throughout their years. I am grateful that I am a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. I am grateful, too, that I had class instruction in 1943.
