Be an Idea Man
An idea man is a pretty valuable fellow. In the realms of advertising, creative writing, corporate planning, product design, the arts, his concepts are what make the wheels go round.
But what makes an idea man? Is he a member of a specially gifted breed set apart from the bulk of mankind? To material sense testimony this indeed seems to be the case. Some people appear to be quick thinking, original, brilliant, while the vast majority plod along in mediocrity.
Human reason tells us that heredity, education, and environment play important roles in this inequality. And the outlook for many would be bleak indeed if there were not a higher source of intelligence and capacity to which they can appeal. Christian Science is teaching and proving that God is this source, that He is intelligence itself, impartial Love, and that, in reality, all men reflect, or express, the knowing or doing of the divine Mind. Mrs. Eddy assures us, "The human capacities are enlarged and perfected in proportion as humanity gains the true conception of man and God." Science and Health, p. 258;
