"One harmonious family"
[For young teens]
Are your parents divorced or getting a divorce?
The children of divorced or divorcing parents often appear to be caught in the middle. As their mother and father dissolve their marriage legally, one often accuses the other of wrongdoing. Which one—mom or dad—should get the children? Which one deserves the children? Which parent loves the children more? As these questions are raised, sometimes even aired in a court of law, the child may feel unwanted, unloved, unappreciated.
If you are one of these, you don't need to feel unwanted, unloved, or in the way. You are God's child, and God knows nothing of divorce. God is your only Father and Mother—your only real Parent, the source and protector of your life. God, Soul, is one God, never divided. And Soul's ideas—the family of man— live in perfect harmony. You live in that family.
