My heart is singing with gratitude because of a healing I received two years ago through the application of the truth of man's spiritual being as taught in Christian Science.

Several years ago a growth appeared on the back of my neck. It did not bother me, so I did not do much about it, thinking that it would go away. But three years ago it became quite unsightly. I awakened to the need to work earnestly to realize the nothingness of matter and the allness of God, that there can be no matter since God, Spirit, is All and fills all space.

This trial caused me to work harder to attain a better understanding of God and His laws, especially His law of perfection. I tried to follow the helpful words of a Christian Science practitioner: "Let us have faith in God's law of perfection. It is always right where we are, in operation, and there is no power that can interfere with it. We are under that law right now."
