I have relied on Christian Science for over twenty-seven years, and I can truthfully say that it has supplied my every need. When our daughter was a young child, a neighbor's little dog bit her on the nose, and the condition looked very frightening. A large piece of flesh had been torn away. I called my sister, a faithful student of Christian Science, and she offered to help the child through prayer. Our daughter was uncomfortable that night, but the next day she was out playing and went about quite freely.

The healing took about two weeks. Her nose formed again perfectly. I tried to know that she was "hid with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3), and that no one could see anything but God's perfect child. I can truthfully say that no one made the slightest reference to her face. We did not even cover it.

I am grateful for the protection I have had while driving a car every day for the past five years. I keep in mind that God controls the whole universe and everything in it. I see God's goodness enfolding my car and every car on the road, and I recall the words of Hymn No. 53 in the Christian Science Hymnal:
