Following many weary years of semi-invalidism, I went to Florida in 1925. Soon after my arrival I was invited by a friend to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. At the close of the meeting I purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. From that night Christian Science has been my only physician, and I find it impossible to express all the gratitude I feel for the years of health and happiness which have followed.

That first night I was healed of a mild case of tuberculosis and also of chronic headaches. Some time later I was stricken with an acute attack of indigestion. Immediately I started repeating "the scientific statement of being," given on page 468 of Science and Health. When I came to the sentence, "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all," the healing was instantaneous.

There have been many healings in our family through the years. My husband, though not a student of Christian Science, was healed overnight of hemorrhoids while he was en route by train to our former home for an operation. No operation was needed because the condition had cleared up through prayer in Christian Science. He often asked for help in Science when financial problems arose.
