Christian Science has been such a blessing to me and my family that I cannot begin to list all the wonderful healings and help we have experienced. My children and I have known no other religion, and it has given us a great sense of peace and protection through many testing times.

One healing stands out and helps me whenever I feel discouraged over another problem that seems slow in working out. We were going home one night about fifteen miles from town in a blinding snowstorm. One rear tire went flat, causing the tire chain to wrap around the axle and stopping our truck in the road. My husband had gotten under the truck, and I was standing against the back of the truck, when we were struck by a car from behind. I was thrown by the impact about thirty feet into the snow at the roadside.

I got up and found I was not hurt; but, looking over at the cars, I could see a crowd gathered, all looking under the back car at my husband. I could see the need for immediate right thought. I turned my back on the material evidence of accident and declared God's governing presence. I said to myself, "You are not going to turn around until you are sure of seeing only God expressed." The fear then left me, and I could turn around and go see what needed to be done.
