The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on February 25, 1968.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another (Rom, 15:5)

"To be likeminded" represents the Greek phrase to auto phronein, literally "to think the same thing," and so "to be in harmony." Hence Goodspeed renders, "May God, from whom steadfastness and encouragement come, give you such harmony with one another"; and Weymouth, "May the God of patience and of comfort grant you full sympathy with one another."

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost (Rom. 15:13)
