Scientific Decision-making

Human existence involves constant decision-making. These decisions range from the trivial, such as what to wear or do tonight, to the momentous, such as choosing a career or a lifetime partner. I always dreaded making any major decisions because I found myself floundering in a sea of fear and uncertainty. But through my study and application of Christian Science I found the orderly steps to take in making decisions.

A first step is to put aside all self-will and let God govern. This may mean relinquishing pet projects and what we think we ought to have or do, as well as knowing that divine Mind controls perfectly. In this way, though, we eliminate fear, which would keep us in a mental straitjacket, and find our inherent God-bestowed freedom.
