There is deep satisfaction in knowing that continuing progress in one's life is the natural outcome of scientific right thinking and spiritual living. In the eleven years since a dear friend presented Christian Science to me, I have faithfully affirmed that the answer to every problem or decision, great or small, is already established in divine Mind and that, as the expression of Mind, man always knows what to do.

Many opportunities have been afforded me to prove the power and practicality of God's laws in human affairs, but the healing I would like to testify to here occurred about a year ago when my hair began to fall out in alarming quantities. The practitioner whom I called drew my attention to Mrs. Eddy's statement from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health (p. 507), "Creation is ever appearing, and must ever continue to appear from the nature of its inexhaustible source."

Reasoning from that spiritual basis, I acknowledged the newness and freshness of creation, and I was able to see that every idea in Mind is permanent—that it never reaches the end of its usefulness but is found forever fulfilling its purpose in being. This line of spiritual reasoning healed the fear that I might lose all my hair, even while the physical problem continued and it became necessary to comb my hair very carefully to cover areas that were nearly bald.
