Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears (Isa. 43:8)

Whitehouse comments that, "Though the people be blind and deaf, it has eyes to see and ears to hear the plain fact and testify to it among the assembled nations, viz. that Yahweh is God alone."

Death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come (Rom. 5:14)
