"Take a turn for the better"
Driving from my home to the city one morning, I found myself in deep thought over the plight of a close friend. He seemed headed for some serious consequences because of his stubborn, self-willed approach to a situation. The further I probed its various aspects, the more depressed I became.
At this point I was attracted to a large sign that directed attention to a newly developed area of homes. In bright bold lettering it read, "Take a turn for the better," and pointed to a turnoff from the road.
How grateful I was for this reminder! I knew I need not be stampeded by suggestions of dismay and confusion and that I could instantly "take a turn for the better" by turning to God, the ever-present divine Mind.
