In Paul's second Epistle to the Corinthians we read (4:6), "God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the fate of Jesus Christ."

In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes (pp. 390, 391), "Rise in the conscious strength of the spirit of Truth to overthrow the plea of mortal mind, alias matter, arrayed against the supremacy of Spirit."
