Awakening the Dormant Thought
"Infinite intelligence, ever at hand, is able to keep us
awake and to meet all our needs"
The word "dormant" conveys an impression of suspended action, of inactivity, and of quiescence. This condition is vividly illustrated in countries in the far north, where the length of the days varies greatly with the seasons. During the winter months there is almost no light, or sunshine. Throughout this season nothing grows. Everything is dormant—alive but inactive under a mantle of cold and darkness.
