WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST

[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on May 24, 1964.]

Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved (Ps. 16:8)

In many Biblical passages a reference to the "right hand" is conceded to imply or to symbolize strength; but here Briggs argues that "at my right hand" means "present, near at hand, as close as possible to help"; adding, "This is the reason why, I shall not be moved."

I girded thee (Isa. 45:5)
