I was a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School...
I was a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School, and I attended until I was twenty, even after I was married and had a child. Then, leaving home and all my friends in order to join my husband, who is in the Army and who is not a Christian Scientist, I almost gave up Christian Science completely. This went on for a number of years, and two more children were born with medical attention.
At a time when there was great mental disturbance in our home and much fear and hatred, I was told I had ulcers and possibly cancer. No longer could I resist Christian Science. So I turned humbly to my books, the Bible and the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was healed in a very short time.
My desire was so great to belong to the church that the smoking and drinking habits left me at this time also, and harmony was restored in our home. Since I have become a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, my growth Spiritward has seemed unlimited.
