Steven Learns to Put God First
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Steven loved to go to school. Each day a big yellow bus picked him up at the corner of the road near his home and brought him back after school was over. But one afternoon he came running into the house, saying that he would never go to school again. He said the other children didn't talk nicely to him. They called him names, and he was afraid of them.
Steven went to a Christian Science Sunday School; so his mother asked him if he remembered the Golden Rule. He said: "Of course, Mother, we learned it in Sunday School. It is, 'All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them'" (Matt. 7:12).
Mother then asked him to explain what the Golden Rule means.
