Spiritual Perfection Is Our Goal
"Jesus gave the command to be perfect, and Christian
Science shows us how this is to be achieved"
Christ Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matt. 5:48). He knew that God is perfect, and by healing all kinds of imperfection, he demonstrated to mortals that man's real selfhood, the image and likeness of God, is perfect. His command to be perfect really implies this spiritual fact.
