We can imagine the joyous relief when, after having been unjustly accused of a heinous crime, one is cleared of all suspicion. That any of us will ever be faced with such a legal predicament is highly improbable. Yet the accuser, mortal mind, stalks in our midst in various guises and disguises. Only seldom does the accusation come as the confrontation of another. Frequently, the destroyer of our security and peace comes as our own criticism, envy, or hatred of our false concept of what appears as another. Most often it takes the form of self-accusation or self-condemnation.
