Christian Science came into...
Christian Science came into our family many years ago when my mother had been given up to die because of adhesions and heart trouble, occurring after a number of unsuccessful operations. Mother was healed, and so many times I have been grateful for her consequent steadfastness and loyalty to the teachings of this religion.
During my childhood we lived in a small town where in those days it was not always the pleasantest thing to be a Christian Scientist. Sometimes we were the only Christian Science family in this little community, and as I look back I am sure that there are those who have never forgotten my mother's unswerving devotion to the truth. It was our only help in every physical difficulty, from so-called childhood diseases to such things as a rattlesnake bite, injuries from accidents, and fears of all kinds.
Through the years, Science has met my every need, never failing when I applied its teachings correctly. In my own family of three children there have been many physical healings, and we have been able to solve all kinds of problems of human relationships.
