I came into Christian Science...
I came into Christian Science because of a great desire for a true understanding of the teachings of Christ Jesus. I failed to find this after many years of being a soloist in different orthodox churches. One Sunday, when I was free from singing commitments, I decided to visit a Christian Science church.
As I entered the church auditorium from the foyer I hesitated, for a pleasant feeling of reverential awe came over me. As the service progressed I felt the truth radiating my whole being. Upon arriving home, I knew that I was expressing some of those truths revealed during the service, for both my little girls asked, "May we go with you next Sunday?"
The answer was a joyous Yes. Today I am a member of a branch church, as are my girls, now grown. We are actively engaged in church work, and my grandchildren are attending Sunday School.
